The Speed Block is a compact, manually
operated clamping system that allows the operator to actuate a clamp when access is confined or restricted due to workpiece dimensions.
A simple 1/4 turn is all that is needed to lock/unlock individual cylinders.
The Speed Block is primarily
designed for use with our ID XpansionTM clamp, however any clamp that uses a straight draw can be used. The Speed Block is offered
in a single and four-station unit. The single station is ideal for rotary tables and indexers. It can use any of the ID Clamps, so size of workpiece is not relative.
The four-station Speed Block is compact, allowing multiple work pieces to be clamped. Face plates and drive plates
can be interchanged for quick set-ups using the same block. The heat treated and ground pistons are on 50.8mm centers.
The Speed Block is a simple
and cost effective alternative to hydraulic or pneumatic pull cylinders.
